Can I get rid of game stuttering with ts?

Hi, I am using tpu forum ts and I think I have ec controller in my system. In games I'm having stuttering because the gpu runs faster because of the ec controller, the cpu is stuck at the wattage limits, but good news! I can control these watt settings with ts, normally the processor is set to pl1 75w pl2 75w pl4 130, but when I enter the game, the cpu pl1 and pl2 60w pl4 110 are active because the nvidia gpu is active. I got information from people who use the same brand laptop. When pl1 75w pl2 115w and pl4 200 are set, the lags in the games go away, I tried, but pl4 goes to 110 for a moment and then to 200 again, so the problem is not solved. Do you have anything to suggest about this situation?

2x8 16gb ram

Always check the Lock MMIO box.

If PL1 and PL2 are changing in the Turbo Power Limits monitoring section at the top, check the Lock box in the Power Limit Controls section.
This will prevent the MSR power limits from changing.

Check the Speed Shift box.

Set Power Limit 4 to a value of 0 and check the Power Limit 4 Lock box.

This should help fix some of the problems you are having. Check the ThrottleStop Log File box and go play a game for 15 minutes. Attach a log file to your next post so I can see how your computer is running after you make these changes.

ok i made the settings, played the game and the log record is attached. is everything normal?
by the way, after making the settings, the game felt more fluent, maybe it seemed to me.Do I need to tamper with the miscellaneous settings in the fivr table?

Your log file shows lots of PL2 power limit throttling at approximately 39W. If the MSR and MMIO power limits are locked, this means your laptop is using an embedded controller (EC) to enforce this 39W limit. ThrottleStop cannot fix EC throttling problems.

Edit - I just noticed that later in the log file the throttling at 39W was not happening. Do you remember if you made a change to the ThrottleStop settings while you were testing? Delete the old log file before you start any new testing. The log file should only show information while you are using the same ThrottleStop settings.

Try using a negative offset undervolt for both the CPU Core and the CPU Cache. I would try setting both of these to an offset of -50 mV. Some 10th Gen mobile processors start to lose stability at approximately -70 mV. Every CPU is unique so try playing a game at -50 mV and see if your computer is stable. When first testing a new voltage setting, run the TS Bench 960M test and see if it reports any errors. If you see any errors during this test then you should increase the voltage. There are lots of different stability tests to try. The TS Bench is a good first test. Gaming is a good second test.

Reducing voltage will reduce power consumption. This will allow your CPU to run a little faster so it will not need to throttle as much to stay under the 39W power limit.

At 39W, your CPU has almost enough power to run at full speed. The amount of power limit throttling is very minor.

Have you tried using the Windows High Performance power plan when gaming? This might help smooth things out.
Use ThrottleStop to switch back to the Balanced power plan if you do not see any difference in performance.

You can leave these settings alone for now. When adjusting the voltage in the FIVR window, I would also set IccMax to the maximum, 255.75, for both the core and the cache.

When I recorded the throttlestop log, I logged without changing the ts settings for comparison. Then I made the tpl settings and recorded another log, maybe I messed up the files. I logged again, but without undervolt, I just changed the tpl settings. Now I undervolt to -50 and I noticed something, ts While doing the bench 960m test, it did not exceed 80 degrees and remained constant at 4.2 ghz, but the voltage was constantly variable, it was variable between 1.14 and 1.09, could the problem be caused by this?

Your CPU is running consistently at the 42 multiplier when the CPU is loaded. There are no CPU throttling problems in the log file.

The Nvidia GPU appears to be throttling. There are times when it runs at 1890 MHz and at other times it slows down to half that speed or less. Try running GPU-Z. See if it reports any reasons for GPU throttling. It might be a GPU power limit that significantly reduces performance.

ok glad it's not about cpu. gpuz and latency mon were running in the background while playing csgo, does the problem appear? by the way, should I continue to reduce the voltage in the negative sense with ts? right now it is -70 and there does not seem to be a problem.

First of all thank you very much for your help, there is better and less stuttering than in the first one.
The CPU temperature reaches the highest 88 degrees, this is the case when the cooling fans are not at 100%, and thermal throttling starts at 95 degrees.
What do I need to do to slow down the gpu or do you have an article to recommend?
After learning how to use Latencymon I will try to solve it if there are problems with drivers.

Asus has a program called GPU Tweak that might work. Maybe MSI Afterburner will work.

I do not know if slowing your GPU speed will make things better or not. That is what I would try just as a test. Running the GPU slower than its rated speed will reduce power consumption and this should help avoid power limit throttling. Will this be smoother? I do not know. Sometimes less maximum MHz is better for smoothness compared to constant power limit throttling.
