Can i install a motherboard without washers?

i know.. it's a silly question but i lost all the washers around my motheboard screws :laugh:
i screwed in all the metalized holes, but i have no washers
will this short out the motherboard?

No, the washers are not needed. Mobos are electrically inert around the mounting holes. The only way you could encounter a problem is if the heads on the screws are larger than the typical mounting screws for a motherboard. If you use the mounting screws that came with your case, you'll be just fine.

hmm.. i think i'll just stick them through a small piece of paper as makeshift washers just in case :D
