Hello,

I'm using ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA401 (2021) gaming laptop which have RTX 3060 Laptop GPU.

It is 60-80W TDP locked but I want higher TDP to gain performance. So I tried to flash a higher 80-95W TDP version from ASUS TUF series.

nvflash v5.670.0 patched update3 is the latest patched version of nvflash I can find... Is there newer patched version? Or am I missing something below?

nvflash --protectoff works fine.

But when I try to flash the VBIOS, I'm getting this error.

NOTE: Exception caught.
Nothing changed!

Need help regarding this. Thanks in advance!

It's possible on RTX 2060 Laptop GPUs. Why not on RTX 3060 too?

Got the same problem while trying to reflash RTX3050 in my MSI GF75 10UC from 55W to 75W:

Couldn't find a better idea than diff this version with original one and apply such patch to the latest nvflash64 5.735. After modifying nvflash64 the notebook was successfully reflashed to 75W vbios version:

You can try my patched version if you are risky enough, but don't forget to backup your original vbios before experiments.

Heya, just stumbled on your post. I successfully flashed it on mine. I used the vbios and nvflash linked in this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG14/comments/rvqnif
Generally you need to flash it via the following command to override the pci warning thingy
Hey, finally! Thanks for the link.

It seems I've got a performance increase a bit. But it is still lower than others if I compare the same laptop.

GPU temp increased 11 degree.

How was yours?
