Hello,
Im having a problem with reseting core offset voltage on my pc (win 11, ultra 5 245KF) (note that i have VBS and undervolt protection disabled.)
i can set the offset votlage (which not always work) but the biggest problem is that i cant reset it back to default.
i tried deleting .ini file or restarting my pc nothing worked and it even broke mi intel XTU i couldnt see the offset voltage setting even here so i needed to revert bios...

I would like to know which MSR registry is throttlestop changing for core offset voltage. Is it 0x150? I heard that there were limitations with this registry could it be the cause of my problem?
Thanks

Post a screenshot of the FIVR window so I can see the problem you are having.

I have not done any Core Ultra testing of ThrottleStop. Other users with Core Ultra processors are able to adjust all of the FIVR voltages without any problems.

Try running msinfo32. Does it show that Virtualization-based security is Not enabled? Some computers cannot completely disable VBS. Check the BIOS to see if there are any options to disable virtualization.

Thans for response.
it seems to be fixed now when setting adaptive voltage in bios instead of auto.
Also how is the throttlestop setting the voltage offset? Would i be able to see 0x150 msr registry to change when changing voltage using throttlestop

I cannot share any information about registers that are not publicly documented by Intel.

I always set the ThrottleStop FIVR window to Adaptive. I have to enable SVID support in the BIOS or some setting similar to that on my Asus Z490 desktop computer. It has a 10th Gen CPU.
