Never heard of CCnet. You can just do the CCNA exams, the only compulsory thing is knowledge - if you want to pass.

Oh, you're the dude who wants to start a company.

You can do the exams whenever you like, but they are difficult. Not just avarage people difficult, but actually difficult, even more so the higher levels. You have to know your stuff. Dunno how long it usually takes to study up to CCNP levels, but I assume it's a while. You might want to look into aquiring equipment unless you go to a uni with gear.

And about that company: forget about it, at least for a bunch of years.

ccent is basically a cert you get to get you in a door to get some basic on the job experience. its worthless as far as real world skills. if you know nothing about networking then I guess its a good place to start.
ccna is fairly easy, especially if you have a lab or softlab to play with, can easily be done with the book and a lab and no experience. ccnp you want some real experience and definitely need a good softlab to play with while studying. after that it gets fun.

and there are no prerequisites for the CCNA exam, other than a good understanding of routing and vlans and access lists.
