Cheap PC for work... which way to go?

i5 750 194$

CASE + WC 200$

Corsair 400W 54$

SSD 60gb 210$-40$MIR = 170$

HD 4350 512mb 39$ - 10$ MIR = 29$

DVD burner 35$ - 15$ MIR = 20$

That makes it 670$ after MIRs (735$ before) without Mobo or RAM

seems good?

I think I'll take that chance and take the SSD anyways :D

P55 Mobo 91$ after tax

4gb DDR3 RAM about 99$ w/ tax

so totals 870$ after MIRs! ands up same price as if I'd buy used from the guy lol... but he has a much better mobo (This Foxconn)

should I buy used or new (except case and WC)?

Corsair ddr3 1600 cas 9

So that brings us to -320$ so at 555$, but now I need a case

Wait, is this going in an office? That AZZA is a bit too flashy for a cubicle, don't you think?

You took the words out of my mouth. What's with the UFO?

The thing is going to be hidden under a desk, and the office is only going to be entered by 6 people, one of them being me... Good airflow would be important for longevity right? The Azza certainly has better airflow...

and its 17.50$ + 13$ shipping so.....

the azza is at 50$ - 25$ MIR so that finishes at 580$ for the i3 system... what do you guys think?

Do you think future upgradability is important?

You can always put a new Mobo+CPU+RAM in these at any later time without trouble. I don't see what else would be the fuss.

in that case the 500$ system looks nice... and it includes a SSD

The SSD will impress the balls out of everyone. When you're running a fine-tuned copy of Win7 off it, yeah. Make sure to tell your boss that he is about to piss himself.
