Cheapo Bluetooth: Will it Work?

I just bought a USB bluetooth adapter on Ebay from China. I paid $4.97 including shipping.

There were cheaper ones, but I wanted to make sure that I at least had a chance of it working.

So, do you think that my new adapter will work?

I'll post the results in 7-12 days when it finally gets off the boat.

I dont see any problem, you can, at times, pick up these adapters from stores for about $10.

I've problems getting my USB Bluetooth dongle to work in vista.

But it should be fine in XP.

Btw, mines shipped from China too :toast:

I've had mine too from china, it works a treat on xp, although drivers might be iffy, Specially blue soleil or something like that, It didn't like my xp x64 so I went with WIDCOMM and modded some infs

It'll most likely work -- at least to start. I guess the problem is that there's no one to complain to if it breaks after a month. Well, there's always the board.
