Computer won't boot

Hi, I was looking around the web for a solution to solve my issue with my computer. I was playing a video game on my computer and blasting music at the same time and I assume it overheated and shut down. I've unplug the power supply and let it cool down overnight but it still won't turn on. I know that there is power going through the PC because my wifi-finder connected to my PC through USB lights up when I have the power connected.

Any suggestion or solutions? Thank you!

Please go to your settings and list your specs (also, make sure to check the show your specs).
If this is a pre-built... What brand and model is it?
What OS?

Hard to give you many answers with out knowing some more info.

Did it just cutoff or did you get any error messages?

Do you see any bulging capacitors or burned/smoked components on the motherboard?

Because the USB ports lights up (or devices connected to them) does not mean the PSU has not bitten the big one.
Try another PSU, if you have one or can borrow one.

Do your fans spin or spin and stop.
Do you have any diagnostic lights on the motherboard?
Dose it make any beeps from the motherboard speaker? If you do not have a motherboard speaker on the header... then put one on it to get the beep codes?
Does anything show on the monitor?
