All was going good last night and then I got a message pop up that said ShockWave had crashed and I was alright with that so I simply restarted my computer. Upon restarting my computer I've been stuck at my screen saying "Verifying DMI Pool Data""AMD Data Change... Update New Data to DMI" and I've already tried reseting CMOS by taking out the battery, tried installing a fresh Windows 7 install to no avail. Sucked up the loss and reformatted my HDD and still got stuck at this screen. What should my next move be?

-Power down and switch off PSU [wait a few minutes] add one item at a time back to the PC build, repeat process
-swapout hdd data cables
-if spare hdd available test with this

Other things:
* Reseat RAM
* Put RAM into different slots
* Put in only one RAM at a time and try (to eliminate potentially faulty RAM - if all aren't broken)
Potential issues:
* Bad CPU
* Bad PSU
* Problem with power button not plugged in/not plugged in correctly
* Bad HDD
* Faulty HDD
* Faulty cables
* Bad MOBO
* Blown MOBO
* CMOS battery dead

Every time my BIOS has gotten stuck at this point during boot it tends to be an added device that's causing chaos. It could be an add-on card, hard drive (which in turn would make the controller act up,) , or even a USB device.
Run as little connected to your machine. Even try swapping out the video card if you have another to test with. DMI (desktop management interface, not to be confused with Intel's Direct Media Interface, is used to manage components on a computer, so a component on your machine could be acting up.
A good example of this was when I put a failed (very failed, as in the HDD controller itself was borked,) and when I restarted my machine it got hung up on DMI.
You should test all hardware connected to the motherboard other than memory and CPU. More often than not CPU/Memory problems will crop up before you get to DMI errors.

If he is getting stuck at verifying DMI pool data, that means his BIOS isn't finishing the POST process before it's hanging up. Although I'm confused now because he said he tried re-installing windows which would indicate that the machine is getting through the entire POST process.
I'm confused now. I think we need a better, more descriptive version of what exactly is happening.
Maybe a full step by step process of what is happening?

I edited my post after reading the thread. I agree. it sounds like a hardware problem may drive like I mentioned.
When I do boot from CD it allows me to use my install disk to try formatting HDD and installing windows. I tried booting without HDD attached and since there is no HDD in it goes to second boot device which is CD and says "Disk Boot Failure - Insert system disk and press enter". I'm feeling like the HDD is bad?

See if you could borrow someones drive and see what shakes out or put your drive in another system.

You could also use a Ubuntu Live CD and plop the following into a terminal and provide us the SMART output:
Unless you have another disk plugged in and it's booting from the wrong disk. This includes flash drives or any USB media including any drive connected to SATA.
More often than not, a failing drive will cause chaos when you try to install Windows not just after.
