[US] Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler $2.99 on amazon

Something similar happened to me years ago with a 3770K CPU, the price was 20€, i ordered one and the next day i got an email from amazon telling me that the order was cancelled because the price was wrong.

out of stock as of the time of this posting.

Says my order has shipped via USPS

If you actually receive it, it will prove it to be a pricing error, and not a scam as some have suspected.

Yep, got an email stating the same thing. Odd looking USPS tracking number, though.

I did check the tracking, and of course, it isn't found in their system.

Sounds way too good to be true. I see another listing for $3.05, it ships from Spain and will arrive sometime between Dec 16 thru Jan something.

I don't trust it. One claims shipping from GA, another from Australia and one from Spain.....something doesn't sound right.

been looking for the seller that Ships free from Mars
going to order 100 COD:)

Same, mine says:

The Postal Service could not locate the tracking information for your request. Please verify your tracking number and try again later.

I guess we'll soon see!

A few years ago I bought a Samsung 850 SSD from Amazon for a very low amount, maybe it was $20. Ended up a pricing glitch and they canceled the order and refunded my money a week later.

id be suprised if even one person who tried this gets the item. Amazon, as well as every other successful business/person in the world, didnt get rich writing checks. if they notice the amounts, it wont be delivered.

especially if the people who ordered them used the links from this thread, which will ALL contain the TPU affiliate link, which leads them(amazon) to premeditated knowledge of deception o_O dum dum Dah!!!!!. ;)
Was still worth a shot

If you click on the "track package" button to get to your order, then check the actual tracking number, do a google search, click the USPS, you'll find that USPS "cannot find" the tracking number.................Imagine that!

Well it's now 3 days past the 6th, the latest my cooler was supposed to show up. So I contacted the seller and asked them to refund my measly 2.99 before I file a claim. They have up to 48 hours to respond. It was totally worth the gamble though! Imagine if someone had mis-marked the price and these guys still honored that sale price?! A damn near free 212EVO? Even if I don't get my 2.99 back it was worth the gamble to me IMHO... now if it were any more I'd be hesitant. Good on them for pricing it right to convince me to try! :D

I'll report back of what happens with my situation.

Amazon refunded me yesterday for it due to fraud account

Well maybe I should just file a claim then and get that ball rolling.

Yes you should, it's the principle behind it.

Well spoke to Amazon support via live chat to process an A-Z Guaranteed Claim against the seller. Because of having to wait for a full refund of $2.99 from the bunk seller, they offered me a $5 promo to my account for my next order that is sold and fulfilled by Amazon, which is a large chunk of my Amazon orders anyways. They processed the A-to-Z claim and also said that once the claim gets approved, the order amount will be reimbursed to my original payment method/account.

That's tough to argue with. Thanks Amazon, and one more good reason I'm a regular and have been a Prime customer. :D

I wanna tie up these scammers to a tree trunk and punch and kick the shit out of them. like Rocky punching meat in the lockers and or JCVD in Bloodsport with the palm tree.

I should Talk to Amazon as well then since my order was for 4 units.

Edit ...I'm talking to a live person via chat atm will post what happens when done.

12:55 PM PST Sunjae : Upon checking the status of the order. The item is temporary out of stock. No worries, You won't be charge to that item.
12:59 PM PST ME: I wanted the item for the price I originally paid. I would have waited till it was back in stock , but the order was cancelled from the seller or amazon it seems.
01:02 PM PST Sunjae : Since the item is temporarily out of stock the item is automatically cancelled. No worries, You won't be charge for the cancelled item.
01:03 PM PST ME: Ok then thanks.

if i might make a suggestion, i happen to be a sort of "professional" when it comes to appealing to Companies, and getting them to provide me with compensatory items, and gift cards, its a sort of past time with me...If I was in your position, i would contact Amazon directly, and Push for them to either make good on the order, or to compensate you so that you can order a replacement Cooler of the same type, free of additional charge, you might be surprised with the results.

Of course that's just me and to many it's just simply not worth the time or foolish just figured I'd mention it
