If you want to run it externally and need a grill for a finished look, consider a "rad grill" product.

You could put the rad + fans on the external roof of the case with a grill.

If your case needs some more flow, for a cooler graphics card, you can remove the PCI slot covers.

I have one more thought, but it kills the case for anything after.....

You could cut a section if the fan hole mesh at the top, big enough to drop the head unit in, then put the rad and fans on top of the case.

Other than that, maybe sell the 105 and look a thinner AIO on the cheap. Let me look at something real fast..... shit, the Arctic solutions are just as thick

That was the other option, cheekily suggested by @ThrashZone above lol. I could probably do something slick like cut a hole underneath the plastic shroud on top, then cut holes in the plastic shroud for the tubes to fit nicely into to make it look more nice. Because the rad itself covers all of the mesh except a bit to the side, and the tubes come out the end, where it's solid metal. But if I'm going to do all that, I'd probably just cut out the I/O shield shroud and mount the rad internally, fans externally. Less work, probably look as good.

Yeah I cut everything out except just enough to mount the rads/ fans too to keep them stationary.
Not much of a loss on a couple old D450 cases
