Coolink gave a small design update to the Corator DS CPU cooler it introduced in January. Spotted at Computex, the new variant, called Corator DS Plus, features design changes including denser aluminum fin blocks, fins that are jagged on two sides to increase air-turbulence, and importantly, two fans instead of one. One of the fans pushes air in from the outer-side, while a fan nested in the middle of the two aluminum fin blocks conveys it onto the next block. It uses a copper CPU base, and 8 mm thick copper heat pipes. Coolink may release the Corator DS Plus soon.

And here we have Noctua NH-D14's cheaper brother, the Corator DS Plus! Seriously, heatsinks need to get more efficient rather than bigger.

If this is cheaper than NH-D14, it will eat its slice of the pie.

If CPU coolers are getting this big, there really is a problem regarding efficiency (of the cooler that is). An over-sized cooler for such a small piece of silicon. What a waste of space......

Depends on how it performs and also depends on how much cheaper. And the rams keep on getting taller too. Conclusion? Dremel sales go up.

same thing in my mind ,it seems coolers makers didn't give serious attention to the P55 motherboards layout considering the memory slots are too close to the CPU.

I was gonna say the same thing about being a DH14 twin. A lower price with comparable performance would be lovely. Hopefully T_ski or someone else on here (maybe Fit) will get a sample to test out.

Solid looking cooler

I like the look of this cooler a lot.
I hope the Egg starts to stock it...I'd say for about $45-50...it would sell like hotcakes if it can perform...
