Coolit System's ECO A.L.C. has failed me miserably.

Had a cool-IT eco without problem for 2 years. I am sorry to hear about your loss... RIP components :shadedshu

Good luck with getting replacements man :toast:

Hey, 2 days ago I had the same disaster happen to me. My Eco Cool It system sprayed and leaked water over about half of my system. Only had it for about a year and I'm waiting to hear back from them on replacing it.

I was wondering about how long you let your hardware dry before you reassembled and tried to boot it up again?

Also, what did you use to wipe down the system with the isopropyl alcohol?

Is your system is still running by any chance?

Thanks,

Spit

Hey. Sorry to hear that happen to you. It is CRUCIAL to set the CPU fan to max for the pump. My motherboard was not working after the leak so I took off all the heatsinks and noticed one of the contacts was corroded due to the leak so I cleaned it and a lot of other parts using isopropyl alcohol. I also dipped my whole motherboard into distilled water for 20 seconds then dried it with a fan so it would dissolve any cooling liquid.

Good luck man. Hope that helps.
