Corsair aims to refresh the long-standing Dominator line with the Titanium series. Marketed as a premium memory kit, the Corsair Dominator Titanium reviewed today comes in a Non-Binary configuration of 2x 24 GB. Binned with an XMP profile of 7200 MT/s, Corsair is not only bringing innovative RGB lighting to the DRAM market, but it comes with speed too. Follow along as we dissect this memory kit!

Nice to see Corsair moving forward with Dominator Titanium DDR5 2x 24 GB kits. :)

I like the design of the Corsair memory. I may get 32GB of their DDR5 for my next build.

Corsair Dominator Titanium please don't bash me, the results are far below the name! The price is double because you already get 96 GB for this price. A big disappointment, a beautiful set, with as much as 1.4 in what I would call burning RAM, because the results prove it. Please don't fall for the looks.

56mm tall, so water cooling only I guess or some crappy little air cooler not suited to the task.

Normal Case airflow should be enough for standard use (XMP 7200). I don't see it being a problem.

If your going to OC with voltage and or drop the timings, cooling is not optional. Though this is the same for every other memory kit.

Has there ever been an explanation given by manufacturers why some dimms are made so tall?

DDR5 is a few mm taller because of the PMIC. I think the shortest ones are 35mm~ (green sticks). The rest is for light defusers. The extra tall ones like XPG give a nice even glow.

I didn't measure these without the topper, but it will work without it.

Fits fine with a nh-d15 with the secondary fan removed or on backside.

Wasn’t there a temperature comparison graph in the preview version of the article? I was curious to see whether there were any small advantages vs other kits/the copper top; I havent done my own testing thoroughly yet, but these sticks seem about 2-3c better than my trident z kit without the copper fin and no direct cooling.

Yes I used to have a comparison for each article, but there's an inherent flaw. The sensor is next to the PMIC and without a thermal pad, the temps will be different.

This is also not the temp of the ICs either, just the PCB.

Why cripple a nh-D15 by removing a fan. If you can get by with one fan there are plenty of excellent and cheaper alternatives to Noctua. Most clerance I've ever had on a twin fan cpu cooler is about 46mm and why lower profile memory exists in the first place.

Second fan isnt much more than 2c, like I said mount it on the back side. I also have like 8 ram kits im messing with so it just happened to be what im using at the time.

Hello,on page 3,i see photo is hynix MGBD ic,but you wrote MHBD.Is this wrong? or it use re named native 6400 ic like G SKill?

Curious to know why when I bought the ram i didnt get first editions? I bought them the day they were released.

Does it say first edition on the box and came with the extras? otherwise you got the normal version.

@CrAsHnBuRnXp I never thought Corsair was actually going to sell the first edition and was just samples for reviewers and promo stuff. However, it wasn't clear on the website which version you would get since there wasn't two version to buy.

Yeah im kinda bummed about it
