CORSAIR RAM Compatibility

Hello everyone,
i will buy this memory http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengea...am-2400mhz-c11-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a2400c11r and i see the the code is
CMY16GX3M2A2400C11R and when i see in my motherboard support memory list the code is
CMY16GX3M2A2400C10R. Here is list with suppory memory http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-z97x-ud5h.pdf and my motherboard is http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5105&dl=#ov . Can someone explane me, and tell me is they are compatibles.

Memory QVLs are just the RAM that the board manufacturer tested on the board but, of course, no one has access to every kind of RAM so if your RAM isn't on the memory support list there's not much to worry about.

That being said, both product numbers are for the Corsair Vengance series, only difference is the timings. The RAM you're buying actually has looser timings than those tested (tested RAM was CL10, your RAM is CL11) so it'll be more compatible (RAM with lower timings offer faster response times but they are harder to run).

DDR3-1600 CL9 is kind of a standard now so anything above CL9 shouldn't have any problems). If somehow you get a RAM that the board can't keep running at their specified timings it'll fall back on the JEDEC standard speed (1333Mhz CL9) in order to work.

TL;DR: you won't have any problem with that RAM.

And one more think, i'll buy a cpu intel i7 4790k ( http://ark.intel.com/products/80807/Intel-Core-i7-4790K-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_40-GHz ) and there is writed in memory section: Memory Types - DDR3-1333/1600. I don`t know what is required speed - SPD Speed or Tested Speed. This is my memeory ( http://www.corsair.com/en-us/vengea...am-2400mhz-c11-memory-kit-cmy16gx3m2a2400c11r ) will they communicate, and they are compatible ?

Yes, it will work but you have to configure the RAM yourself since the CPU will clock it at 1600Mhz. It's easily done by selecting an XMP profile on the bios.

Corsair RAM especially Vengence has only compatility problem is with Asrock board z77 extreme 6. the support list is too low for corsair ram. whereas filled with GKSILL and Kingston.

Gigabyte can up any RAM it want.
