As the title suggests , Could it be good for gaming?

Found A Mint Condition working one on eBay from a reputable dealer (Have bought from them before but i don't know with this kind of GPU..)

Found This:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER vs AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 MxGPU - SpecsBoss

So, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER or AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 MxGPU? Which GPU is Better?

Based on the analysis of technical specifications and benchmark results, we recommend the AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 MxGPU GPU. It is better, faster and more efficient in games and operational apps.

Guess i have my answer..
It may not be at all more popular than the nvidia cards but it seems i guess it can still pack a small punch..
PassMark:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER
9825 (93 %)

PassMark:
AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 MxGPU
10466 (100 %)

It is quite apparent it almost blows it out of the water..

ONLY thing I am concerned about are the clock speeds..

should I still proceed to buy one for gaming??

Hi, the AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 is a compute GPU. This device has no display connectivity, as it is not designed to have monitors connected to it. https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-specs/radeon-instinct-mi25.c2983
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER is capable for 1080p esports, light gaming. How much is the asking price? How about the rest of the PC config?

Hi there,
Asking is just under 100 But one thing i have noticed in the listing is it has a hidden display port..???

So i don't really know what to make of it..

Obviously i'm on a budget lol.

It's an X99 board With a Xeon processor...
I don't really have a MONSTER gaming PC but i like it..

I see you already own several GPU's?

"r9 390x 8GB, RX 580 8GB, 1660 SUPER (On the desk Not Installed..yet) and an RTX 2060 Super 6GB"

What's wrong with those?

oh sorry about that it isin't fully updated.. lol

I'm kind of a GPU' holic as you can see too..

oh.... it's not?.. :embarrased:

What's it for then?

If you say that's a regular display port, I'm Santa Claus....
I was just going to say the same thing. Also @ OP, you have a 1660 super and 2060, just use one of them??? Or instead of buying "little" cards, save up and get a 6700XT or up?

oh.... it's not?.. :embarrased:

NOT gaming.

As i said earlier my friend, that is not an updated list. :)

I currently have a 3060 that ONLY works when you downclock it... lol!

As I said earlier then, save up for a different, fully functional card. Not an enterprise GPU which is as much use as a chocolate teapot.

It is a Mini DisplayPort. Works just the same.
@metaldc4life what CPU model do you have exactly? With a bit of manual work you could set your PC to a Hybrid graphics configuration, the same way as laptop GPUs work. Assuming you have an iGPU.

True and they accept returns too.. :D

Contrary to what's being discussed, this GPU can work for gaming, but not in the same sense as a commercial grade GPU can.
To fully utilize its potential you need to run it through virtualization (proxmox pass-through, plus many more hypervisors out there but the most commonly used is Parsec).
You need to configure in a way that you need a local "cloud" server from which you can stream games on to a different "onsite" client.

TLDR; You will spend more time making this card work that the time you will spend playing actual games.

THAT is the answer I was looking for! thank you all!

Short answer is yes. Here's a whole thread on L1T with some guides, troubleshooting, and performance numbers.

Hi, the AMD Radeon Instinct MI25 is a compute GPU. This device has no display connectivity

It's also mostly identical to a Radeon Pro WX9100, the difference being one IC and some firmware. See above link for info around that.

If you say that's a regular display port

It is.

Ok. It is a regular DisplayPort through a small connector.

Just like this is a regular USB through a small connector:

And just for fun, this is a regular HDMI through a small connector:

Where do you figure the other half of the "DisplayPort" connector is? Because you can see the table through the hole next to it.
