Could old hardware collect in the future yield value and money ?

Hardware (old) is like people (old) Only obsolete when Creamated or Landfilled
Yeh some go in for Taxidermy and mount it on walls and Shelves >>>>:) Hi Granma:) <<<<<<

I would go so far as to suggest old PC games are collectable, that is as long as it has the original disc cover/package in good condition.
Pre 21st century games I would recommend.

Well I know quite a few console's and retro games have rocketed in price. Sometimes I wonder why the pc games haven't moved as much?

And the console's were very mainstream.. Maybe perhaps a bigger following?

There's nothing wrong with a few 'old' gaming consoles (when they where actually gaming consoles....)

Got a decent collection there mate. Here's a sneak peek of mine. I'm an old school Sega fan. Especially the Mega drive, Mega CD and 32x : )

Yep I have a few of those as well :) I'm trying to find a 32x box but it's like finding a needle in a hay stack.. Rather frustrating but.. Trying to find some decent boxed models are a nightmare, so expensive... :(
