Hello its my first time posting hoping to get some insight about this problem. So the problem is while using GPU as my main graphic card , the game Im playing randomly starts Stuttering, I think fps drops to 1-2 and it just makes annoying robotic noises for about 3-4 seconds , then its all good, then in about 5-10 seconds the same thing happens.
So far I know that its not temperature problem , and whenever it starts stuttering I hear fans noise going up and when its done stuttering it calms down. I checked my task manager when stuttering happens and I see CPU reaches 100% , Ghz speed drops down , after 5 seconds it gets stabilized.
My HP Laptop stats are: Windows 8.1 64-bit OS , x64-based processor. Intel core i7-5500 , 2.40 ghz. RAM: 12 GB Video card: Nvidia geforce 850m.
extra info: I have not re-installed windows for about 3-4 years now. And it just randomly started happening again, I could game normally 2 weeks ago. Its not just games tho, when for example rendering a video in sony vegas and using GPU for it, it just makes it Lag and freeze then it goes again and so on so on.
I dont know much about technical stuff so I'll be taking laptop to technician soon so any information beforehand would be appreciated.
