CPU clock speed lower than it should?

Hi. So I have a laptop - ASUS n580GD, and I am undervolting it at both -.155mv. (CPU is an 8750h, 2.2ghz base speed 4.1 boost)

I recently realized that whenever I'm rendering a video, playing a game or even using TS bench, my CPU clock speed doesnt go beyond 2.9, raaaarely at 3, 3.2 or higer.

I was just wondering if it was normal, or if I did something bad in the process?

Thanks y'all

The all core frequency of that cpu is 3.9Ghz; so yeah, something's wrong, even more so when you're underclocking.

What's the frequency with the stock voltage?

The 8750H has a 45W TDP rating. In the ThrottleStop TPL window, you set this to 22W. You have told your CPU to throttle and now you are asking, "Why is it throttling?"

You also adjusted all of your Turbo Ratios to 36 just to make sure your CPU throttles. Stop following the guide you followed.

You already posted about this same problem last week. Do you think if you ask the same question that somehow things will be different this week?

Im not much of a tech guy so I dont fully understand and know what's happening, hence why im asking on the forum. Yeah I did post last week but it was about my temperatures. I guess from what youre saying is that TDP is in link with the cpu speed.
I didn't know that. Trust me I wouldnt have wasted my time "asking the same question hoping that somehow things will be different". I will try setting a higher Wattage than 22 and see if it increases the speed.
Thanks for the answer
