Asus prime X470 Pro and a ryzen 5 2600X at 4ghz get's a bit hot under prime 95 and ibt

My case is a define r6 with 1x140 and 3x120mm Dynamic X2 GP-12 fans at low rpm (noise)

Cpu cooler is a scythe mugen 5 with 2 fans i love since i can't hear it and temps are good except for worst case senario

100% load in prime 95 and ibt max heat is 74-76 c and in worst case senario +80 when it's summer

I wanna oc my 2600X to 4.1 ghz my ram is oced to 3466mhz cl 16 (stock 3000mhz cl 15) im having trouble getting it to run 4.1ghz at 1.375 volt (mabye vcore has to be x1 higher for the vcore to be 1.375volt). it should be able to handle 4.1ghz at 1.375 volt might have to do with the oc of my ram https://siliconlottery.com/pages/statistics

At that speed and vcore it gets to hot (no power savings enabled except for 80% as the minimum processor speed in the power plan).

I would like to hear your opinion on a cpu cooler.

Despite not loving aio coolers because of the pump noise i have thought of going all in, 360mm in the front

Mabye a Fractal define Celsius S36 since it has the same fans as i use in the front = push pull if i want to and im 99.99% shure it can fit in my define r6, price is more then fair.

What would you recommend? I hate coilwine from the pump so if possible i want it to be dead silent and a price under 140€

I know the alternative which is a noctua n-d15s (bit of hum in the 2 fan version) and the be quiet dark rock pro 4 (more quiet then the 2 fans notua). Nothing i can think of that comes close to those 2 air coolers

Im running 4,1Ghz just fine using a Noctua NH-U12S with 1 fan. Even in demanding games it never gets over 60-61 degrees censius. Its silent and nice enough for me.

How do you messure your temps ? Im using Ryzen Master from AMD, since I find that programme to be the best.

You really will not notice a difference between 4 and 4.1 GHz. You're chasing extra performance for extremely minimal gains. You're better off getting your cash invested elsewhere. Your temps are fine, and I highly doubt you'll be able to get to 4.1 with the cooler change if you are already at that voltage.

Some gets 4.1GHz at 1.375V doesn't mean your one can run 4.1GHz @ 1.375V.
Try to up your vaoltage 10mV by step, and see if it stable or not.
And try not to go beyond 1.4V for 24/7 use.

Get's to hot at 4.1ghz at 1.375 volt, at that vcore with the oc of the ram it crashes when i take ibt (to low vcore on the cpu)

HISTORICAL BINNING STATISTICS

https://siliconlottery.com/pages/statistics

Im shure i can get it to be stable at 4.1ghz but not with good temps at 4.1ghz and close to 1.400volt. 4.2 ghz on all core, threads i would only try with a ryzen 3...

Often when i see people review a ryzen 5 2600x they do it at 4.2ghz when they oc

https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-5-2600x,5579-2.html

In the U.S. lab, we paired our Ryzen 5 2600X with Corsair's H115i cooler for overclocking. This allowed us to maintain a 4.2 GHz all-core frequency at 1.3875V Vcore, 1.2V SoC voltage, and default Load Line Calibration settings. These are the same settings used on the Ryzen 7 2700X, albeit with a slight 0.009V Vcore boost to ensure stability.

4.1ghz 1.400 volt

4.2ghz
https://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/amd_ryzen_5_2600x/3.htm

When it's getting hotter (to day is one hot day) the temps goes up, normally it's no problem, but when it's hot it could get alot hotter gaming at 4.1ghz close to 70 c

I just wanna have fine temps at 4.1ghz in worst case senario, hot summer prime 95 low to mid 70's 73-77 in that extreme benchmark (or ibt) it's okay for the fans to run at max rpm.

That's why i was thinking of the 360mm Celsiud S36 from fractal

Other ail 360mm in my price range

Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB

Enermax LiqTech II 360

Deepcool Captain 360 EX White RGB

Corsair Hydro H150i Pro RGB (a bit expensive)

240mm aios there should be more to choose from
