In the choice of the processor and the motherboard, for a PC to be used for Gaming together with a GTX 1080 1440p resolution, budget 200 euros, it is worth at this price to buy a used 6700K and a Z170 in used, (it would be overclocked being is there a liquid cooling system)?
Also, would there be viable alternatives at this price?

You can also pick up the new ryzen 3 3100 / 3300x and a cheap b450. Same amount of cores/threads but much newer platform
Also you can pick a 1600 af and also a b450 and have more cores

My Suggestion would be a X470 and Ryzen 3100.

Yes, the 3100 and 3300x are almost the same as an i7 7700k.

Also its a dead platform vs a platform that will get ryzen 4000 cpu up to 16 cores.......
