Hello everyone ,
i face lately a problem with my pc which has the following specs :
asrock z77 pro 3
Ram 10 gb ddr 3 (8gb 1600 MHZ crucial
2gb 1060 mhz micron)
I7 2600
gtx 970 4gb

the problem starts while i'm playing videos games pc suddenly shut down
and when i wanted to restart it the cpu fan turn on around 5 secondes then off
i thought the problem was my cooler because it didn't mount correclty (the cooler has screws but motherboard doesn't have the holes which supports this type of screws)
so t looked for a new cooler i bought an intel stock , i mount it correctly but the problem still happend
a lot if videos talk about ram is the main cause of this this problem, i clean it and the slots too but still the problem
i don't know what will i do?

i test my ram in anthor pc it works fine so ram isn't the problem
i bring another psu also the pb still happen
i remove cmos battery to reset bios settings, the pc don't turn on at all ( as iknow removing cmos battery doesn't prevent pc from powering but in my case do idk why?
if the problem is my motherboard, can i repair it? i just bought it to play games , it doesn't have any physical damage i check the capacitors everything fine,

Can you be specific about your ram configuration? from your description it sounds like

Slot 1, 4gb 1600mhz ddr3
Slot 2, 2gb 1066mhz ????
Slot 3, 4gb 1600mhz ddr3

Please check you bios for the speed the ram is actually performing at.

It sounds to me like you don't have a proper mount on your cooler. You run a game, cpu pegs, fan speeds up, cpu throttles, but too late cause there's already too much heat and the safety kicks in and turns off your pc.

Ignore launching a game, and try running a benchmerk in cpu-z. If that passes, then run the stress test. If that passes and Temps are a-ok, then your cpu cooler is good.

The fan noise could also be from your gpu. Run unigen heaven or valley or some other quick test. Monitor your gpu Temps. Might think about repasting the gpu since it's almost 10 years old.

If your gpu bench mark kills the system, then you need to download in msi afterburner, lower core and mem frequency, and try again.

Often "vram issues" could look like "ram issues" in disguise.

no i have a one stick crucial 8 gb at 1600 mhz speed
and 2gb at 1060 mhz
i tried to test one by on in this mobo but it turn on then off
i test it without ram and gpu the problem still happen
my intel cooler is mount correctly i check it many times
i can't enter to bios i said pc turn on then off immediatly

What state of your system for now it was starting or not? For me look like it's bios problem (need to be reflashed). Reflashing that bios chip not a big problem. Also did u tried replace 2032 battery ?
Did u tried start it without GPU with just Intel HD? Also -turn off all peripheral devices, all, leave just MB+CPU+RAM (one module) and PSU and try to start... If it's just in video games did u tested your gtx 970? (temperatures?)

i said i test the motherboard without gpu and it still turn on and off after few secondes , isaid ican't enter bios because pc won't start it turn immediately , when i remove battery cmos it don't turn at all like there's no power ,

What PSU and how old is it.

Thats a symptom also for a mb hw circuit short on cpu vrm, i/o ic
Was this mb working for you or you just purchased a used part knowing/not knowing its state?

Install a single memory module. Then try pulling the cmos battery.

You can enter the bios from windows.

Use ctrl + shift and use your cursor to restart. A menu will come up and you can select enter "uefi settings."

I re-read your post several times.

Are you telling us that you can no longer power on or boot? Do you have a post code from you hdd and/or power activity led?

sounds like a ram freak out to me, as said try1 stick at a time. or it could be a psu problem too but id try the ram first.

Yeah, it didn't boot there's no diplay in monitor so i can't enter to bios or anything

psu is good , i test it with another pc it work fin even the ram work fine
i don't know where's pb

One stick of 8 GB, one stick of 2 GB. Way different and way different speeds. I would say that is a problem. Even if fixing that problem doesn't create the solution, it is a problem which needs to be fixed. I would fix that problem before anything else.

The fan turning off isn't necessarily a problem. It could be a feature.

Risk of bad PSU caps, even if they look OK to the eyes. Extremely likely, especially with shutdowns under heavy graphics load!
(Topcat over at badcaps .net, would take those secondary caps out on the spot and replace them with ultra-high-quality caps. You would be lucky to get 6-7 years out of the original PSU secondary caps on bronze and white PSUs)

That doesn't look like the much more usual bad CPU heatsink mount issue. (which is a meme of push-pin CPU heatsinks)

Power-cycling syndrome is likely the RAM not being seated properly, according to some reports.
