Hi there
I have a problem with my processor. It is constantly running at maximum frequency and at low TDP. Everything happened after I disconnected the battery from the motherboard for a long time (I changed the keyboard).
Regardless of whether I play with charging or without charging, the processor always works at the 3-5w level. Therefore, I get trottling in games and high temperatures due to the maximum frequency. Any changing in Throttlestop make it little better. Frequency drops to 2.9-3.1 from 3.8.
What is more interesting when i set 2.2ghz in FRVL , tdp increase to 9-13W. 2.3-2..4 dropsTDP to 5-7W, 2.5+ - 3-5W
Not only in GTA V - in all games and aida aslo
Before that, everything worked fine, throttlestop even lowered the voltage and increased the TDP to 20. The thermal paste has just been changed, there are no changes. I can't update the BIOS because HP software is the strangest and won't let me do it.
CPU: i5 8265u
tdp 15w, turbo boost 25w
In additional RAM 12BG, MX150 2GB.
