CPU temp in performance overlay

I tried the "new" performance overlay and it seems cool enough, but one thing is missing ( at least for me) - CPU temperature.
I know this feature is directed towards nvidia GPU monitorisation, but it's almost useless if it doesn't include one of the most important stat - CPU temp.
Is there anyway ("hacking or otherwise") enabling this readout or ...drop it and use afterburner as always?
 
Just use afterburner, this performance overlay is just out and still requires improvements
 
yeah, I figured.. not really just out. I think it's been around for at least 1 year.
don't see it improving anyway.
