CPU throttled to 0.39Ghz while gaming

Hello, so my Lenovo Ideapad Slim 3 now is often throttled far from its temp limit. The CPU max temp is 94℃ but its randomly change to 70℃ when i playing games. This makes my laptop unplayable and have terrible fps, when throttled the fps is drop to 5-9fps and the CPU Clock drop to 0.19Ghz and 400Mhz. I turned on AC and using cooling pad while gaming and getting throttled around 70℃-75℃ .In Throttlestop i see that my laptop is got power limit, i tried to underclock with throttle stop but FIVR settings unavailable.

Lenovo laptops can vary the thermal throttling (PROCHOT) temperature while you are using your laptop. This can result in horrible performance and makes many of their laptops completely unusable, especially when trying to play a game. Popular laptop review sites never said a word about this feature so most Lenovo owners are completely unaware of this issue. Sad times.

I was so disgusted by what Lenovo was doing that I added a feature to ThrottleStop to help with Lenovo's sad sack laptops. Open the Options window and on the right hand side is a feature called Lock PROCHOT Offset. This does exactly what it says. It locks the PROCHOT temperature to a fixed value like every other non-Lenovo laptop does. This will prevent one of the problems you are having. Check the PROCHOT Offset box first and set that to 5 or less. The Intel default is 0. After that, check the Lock PROCHOT Offset box, press OK and this problem will be solved.

The next problem I see in your screenshot is POWER limit throttling even though power consumption is only 6.8W. That is another FAIL by Lenovo. Show me a screenshot of the ThrottleStop TPL window. Make sure the MMIO Lock box near the top right is checked and make sure the Disable Controls box in the Power Limit Controls section is not checked. Turn on the Log File option on the main screen and play a game for 15 minutes. When done testing, exit ThrottleStop so it can finalize the log file. Attach a log file to your next post so I can see how your computer is running now. It has to be running better than the sorry laptop that Lenovo sold you.

You can blame Intel for removing voltage control from their 11th Gen G7 series. None of these CPUs allow this anymore. Intel did the same thing to the vast majority of their 12th Gen mobile CPUs too. Only the 12th Gen HX series and the ultra expensive 12900HK still allow voltage control.

Edit - If you are using Windows 11 and want maximum performance, consider disabling its Virtualization Based Security (VBS) features including core isolation memory integrity.
