Hi guys, I could use some help. I have an R9 270X CrossFire set up. Yesterday I downloaded COD:AW and DA:I. While playing them yesterday, my CrossFire set up was working perfectly, no problems. Today though, I played DA:I for several hours and it ran fine, so I didn't think anything of it. While closing out the game though, I noticed it had a benchmark, so I tried it. I got really low, 20 to 30, frames per second. I figured I'd check to see if CrossFire was working. That's when I noticed the option to toggle it on/off wasn't there. I rebooted, uninstalled/reinstalled driver and performed a system restore. Nothing helped. Anyone have any advice?

PS: I'm getting a new CPU soon, so if a hardware adjustment or clean install of the OS is needed, I'll do it then.

Did someone make off with the second 270X? :)

Seriously tho...are both cards showing in your device manager?

Ya. I was actually just about to update my post to say that both show up in Device Manager and CCC. In CCC though, it shows my secondary one as disabled (Obviously).

Does GPUz shoes crossfire as enabled? Likely not if benchmark scores are low eh?

Are you running the latest driver? Perhaps try a few different installs and see if there's any difference

I tried both the most recent official and beta drivers. What else should I try?

Also, could one of the GPUs be broken even though Device Manager sees both of them?

Update: I did a clean install of Win 7 Professional on my computer. Installed CCC and necessary drivers, still no option for CrossFire.

try another CF bridge cable

Good point. I hadn't thought about that. In fact, I tuck part of the cable underneath one of the cards, rather than bowing out as most people do. Could that cause the bridge to melt or brake?

Anythings possible. Id pull both cards and reseat them. Check bios aswell possibly power settings.

I'll be sure to do that when I open her up. Thanks.

Update: Problem solved after replacing the bridge and doing a clean install. Not sure which one fixed it, but I don't care.
