OFFICIAL Cyberpunk 2077 Game Discussion

I have a feeling your joking, but just in case you're not...welcome to the real world. You kinda seem like a huge CDPR fan boy that is foaming at the mouth to defend them for everything. Oh well, I'd expect nothing less from someone who was buying cyberpunk merch in bulk before the game even released
I have a feeling you don't know what that "/s" at the end stands for, but ok, I've got tons of invisible cyberpunk merch in my room. Next, call the FBI and tell em where's Jimmy Hoffa's body.

Man did Bethesda get this much criticism and complaint when they released Skyrim and Fallout 4?
As i've said previously you just can't win in this situation with people, people didn't want anymore delays so they publish and when it does get published in a "broken" state they wish it didn't go live yet and it was delayed.

I would love a physical copy!! I don't want a refund at all. The game is great! It's not perfect, but then again, what game ever is? I look at this game is the modern day Crysis. Great gameplay, solid story and beautiful GFX. It sets a new high bar for everyone to reach for and in my eyes, that is a VERY good thing! Sure, it has a few minor issues, but nothing game breaking or even slightly serious. It doesn't crash or fail to play.

@CDPR,
If you see this, how about bringing the boxed version stateside? I would love to have a copy! And yes I'd pay for another copy! I love this game, kicks ass!!

Rock on CDPR! Rock on!

Sure, people can and will be unreasonable, especially on the internet, but they also wanted the game to come out and not be broken, it's not hard to understand.
And, let's be fair, they couldn't be aware it is not an option, because CDPR kept communicating that it is pretty much ready, went "gold", final polish etc.

Witch is why i preorder it 10 days before launch. I really thought after many delays etc and their official announcement that it is gold, it will be.
I figured glitches etc...all games have it. It's normal. But not like this.

Have you guys seen this?
A lot of people claim it almost doubles their FPS while some claim it does absolutely nothing and isn't even supposed to work.
Loading now about 2 times faster, bug with creating new character has gone. Can't say much about FPS, because hardware is pretty old (i7-2600/32GB/1070/intel 730 SATA SSD/W7x64), it mostly better after 1.04.

someone posted a Mod thing somewhere I can't find it in this thread.
tilt shift on photo mode/or game play, would really make Raytracing look interesting and realistic.

just got it.
9600k-5700xt red devil-1440p monitor. 40ish fps ultra/50ish fps high

Any settings tweaks?

Volumetric fog to low worked for me w/o any visual impact, can't really tell the difference between high and ultra so I just keep it High

This worked pretty good on my Titan Xp system but going by the GN video the game doesn't like the 9600k much

I run the game pretty maxed out on my main system and just let VRR take up the slack.

I am glad I have barely been playing, haven't ran into any bugs hehehe

Just ran into a doozy of a bug. Fairly common it seems. Can't draw weapons, can't equip weapons. Time is stuck at 10.00pm (even though saves say 5.21pm, or whatever). What a game killer, seriously. I can't even enter a location because it's locked due to the time.

This happened after I got the relic and Jackie dies in the Limo. I get out and ...bam... the game's broken. POS.

Oof. I mean Witcher 3 was far from bug free. There were some decent ones. I don't think cp77 could ever live up to its hype but you hate to see this. Except when it happens to EA maybe.

I still have not had a single crash in this game and now it runs really well on the new PC build. Playing at 1440P still but playing with Ultra settings (shut off all the blurry stuff) and RT ON, RT Reflections ON, RT shadows OFF, and RT Lighting OFF. DLSS OFF. Cruising between 60 and 81 fps. Game not only looks great but is now running awesome.

I am starting to see a lot of strange bugs though. The worst is my character's junk clips through certain pants, as if Im going commando with my fly wide open. lol Sucks because I dig these pants but I just cant stand seeing his junk hang out all the time. :twitch:

well CP2077 sure could benefit of a "modding scene a la Skyrim" i am sure the community would also do better than the devs as they usually do, unoficial fix/patch : best fix/patch

well i know why i watch Cohh playing it rather than going on reviews  we think alike and have a lot of common point on game liking, and i have the same opinion on CP2077, he said the game has bug but it's not on Fallout level (76 namely ) but again he, and i, are playing it on PC ... i read about the PS4 issues but i can't bother |

Skyrim had a saving grace, the modding community, i can't play a run of Skyrim (nearing 1102hrs on it i need to get back :D ) without my 255 pieces modlist (when it's not 245 companion and 10 weather and textures/meshes mods )

as i mentioned above CP2077 could really benefit of the modding community like Skyrim, my favorites game of all time all of them have at least one unofficial patch Skyrim, Nier Automata and some oldies that wouldn't run without them ... main point about PC is flexibility.

alright downside of the repack, i have to turn auto update off otherwise it re dl the languages pack, well i had to seek for patch 1.04, friend to the rescue again pointed me to an agnostic (aka STEAM/GoG compatible) 1.04
my quest marker issue was corrected after that patch.

Take them off and put them on again.

I get the modding community probably helped but was it as bad on initial launch though Skyrim or Fallout with all the major criticism?

Not at all, people accepted most things even if they whined about it. Its social media man, algorithms make that voice larger than it really is and that further reinforces people to whine more.

This applies to 90% of todays internet actuvity btw

People know Bethesda sucks and are happy when they get the game to load. People like to gloss over anything that goes wrong with CDPR.

I love CDPR, they have their faults. This launch is an example. However, they appear to be a net positive on the industry from where I sit.

As for CP2077, story, Story, STORY. All I care about. Gameplay and graphics tied for 2nd.

Don't know if this has been posted yet (apologies if it has) but it seems like the game prefers real real cores over virtual one. Test CPU is a intel 9900k

mmhhh the only thing i remember about skyrim was .... "potato head" and out of all my playthrough i rarely encountered any bugs, at last not of the game breaking kind...

Fallout well i stopped after 3 and New Vegas (well 76 got better thanks to wastelander, can't say much for the fourth )

as for CP2077 ... i find a bit overly exagerrated and mostly stemming from Ps4 issue plaguing users, but story and environment (minus the trees.... glitch) CP2077 is not that bad, Cohh Corpo hard difficulty playthrough has more than 107 episodes now on youtube ... i get he's a huge fan of CDPR and he played a part in the game since he has a NPC with all the line they recorded (although he did not knew what his npc was meant to be and what the lines meant at the time ) but he plays it genuinely enjoying it and got only a minor set of annoying bugs, just as i do (and i am also a huge fan of CDPR ... but i have no npc ... sadly  ) a, forgot .... he also agree on the Police issue :D

(re-edit ... well i am no reference ... i also love Mass Effect Andromeda ... )
