Nah you really want a quad core. If you can get a quad core kaby or better than I would do that over a 3770.I have a friend who told me he knows a shop with G4600 + mobo for only a $100. Should I get it instead?
My comment is moreso that there are a lot of dead looking 1155 boards on eBay and the prices for said boards is usually far too high. If you have a source for a mint 1155 board and it isn't overpriced then that is an okay route. I would consider getting a used cheap H series, Q series, or B series chipset board for 1155 because it is more likely to have been run in an easy home office or business environment, and the 3770 does not have an unlocked multiplier anyway. The downside to the other chipsets is they often have things like fewer ram slots, 2 instead of 4, or fewer PCI express slots, etc. If you are running two sticks of ram and a single videocard it doesn't matter. But if you find a mint Z77 board that doesn't appear to have been abused, and the price is good, go for it. Asus and AsRock Z77 are the brands I'd recommend.
