Alright, so a lot of people probably already know about the horrendous controls in the PC version of Dead Space.. their simply abysmal, and leave it to EA to be fucking cunts and not release a simple little patch that lets the user map any keybinding they want to a specific action. So here is my solution: A modded Controls.RMP file!
Editing the RMP file yourself
Easy jobbie, download XVI32 and open Controls.rmp. Use THIS for keyboard scancodes reference and just insert where needed.
Alternatively you can use the attached file, it only changes the keybindings from WSAD to cursor keys.
How to install:
Extract Controls.RMP to AppData\Local\Electronic Arts\Dead Space
Thats it. All the cursor boys out there now have a fighting chance
