Dedicated PhysX won't enable

So I decided what the heck and am trying to test dedicated PhysX on my 8400gs and have my GTX 280 do all of the graphics rendering but in the Nvidia Control Panel where the PhysX settings are it either completely enables or disables it, I cant choose to offload all the PhysX calculations to the 8400.. apparently with the older 179.xx drivers and the old standalone PhysX control panel you can specify which card did what. But I cant get it to work with the 181.21 drivers I have currently installed.

Has anyone even attempted what I am trying to do yet with these two cards? If so, please help!

Well nevermind.. got it to finally differentiate between the two cards with 179.xx drivers and the old seperate Physx control panel. Weird that it won't let me with anything 180.xx and above though..

When they combined the PhysX and nVidia control panels into one, the option to select which card handles PhysX was removed. I believe nVidia is working on adding it back in, I expect it will come with the next Control Panel release.

That's odd, I'm using the 181.22 beta, and I can select between my 280 and my 8800gs no problem! But not much point when using a 280...

Thats not true, I've got a GTX 260 and 9600GT and it selects the 9600GT for physx or I can change it.

Using latest drivers for both GPUs and physx
