From what I gather the every-other color here is hard-coded. I'm not this type of developer (I'm web) though I know there are some sort of window variables for the color scheme that you should be able to pull from.

OK, I get that part.

However, am I mistaken in thinking the person that made this custom Windows theme should fix it, and not the maker of GPU-Z?!

Or maybe the makers of WindowBlinds should.

I am not a fan of this program, but I like Stardock.
I use their Fences program for a really long time, and purchased several copies over various of their versions.

Seeing how:

1. We don't know how actually works on the code for GPUz.
2. We have no idea if it's a problem with GPUz or WindowBlinds.

That we should wait on W1zzard to get back to us on it.

Additionally I did not make this custom theme, I merely took version 1.1 of it and cleaned up some minor tidbits to make it more usable. If you'd like to find blame you're welcome to go to the website, download the WBA file and spend hours going through the hundreds of settings looking for these blinding colors. I already did.

Considering that only you seem to be having this issue, I would say that GPU-Z was not written with your unique Windows colour theme in mind. You really can't blame W1zzard for that.

My response is a response to that post. We can do this back and forth all day long.

Installing a unique theme, and then blaming X program for not working well with that unique theme does not compute. You can't expect everything to work well with everything. That's why I always recommend using a plain version of Windows (or any OS) with no tweaks. That way, you at least ensure the broadest compatibility possible.

You clearly haven't read the thread because your statements directly ignore the responses I have already given. Additionally if you want a bland beige box with a copy of Windows 3.1 installed on it you're welcomed to do so in your home, on your time and on your dime. If you or anyone else insists on being the brakes on progress I'll just report to the mods as off-topic. Man up and do something productive with your time.

I have read the thread, and I'm on the same opinion regardless. I don't like a beige box of Windows 3.1 any more than you do, but I do like simplicity and compatibility. I offered a possible explanation to your problem, but if that only prompts you to insults, then I'm not the one who needs to man up.
