I recently analyzed my hard drive to see if it needed to be defrag'd, it said it did. The HDD had 11% total fragmentation and 22% file fragmentation. I defrag'd it but it did nothing at all, it went through the motions of defragmenting but at the end it was still 11% total and 22% file fragmented. no matter what i do the HD is fragmented and runing defrag will not do a thing. whats going on? how can i fix this?

thanks

Diskeeper Lite It is freeware and a paid version is also availible.
