Hello guys,
I need a quick advise. My wife's laptop: Dell Inspiron N5110 has been behaving weird lately. You turn on the laptop and after 10 mins or so, starts what I describe as a very loud something-is-going-to-break kind of noise. The noise doesn't stop after 5 mins or so and then I turned off the laptop. Reaching the fan means fully disassembly. Which I did: I replaced the thermal pads, thermal paste. There were no dust bunnies or fluffy balls. Assembled again and I turned on, 10 mins later the same rattling noise. HDD was replaced with SSD 2 years ago, no other moving parts apart from the fan. Laptop is, I don't know 5 years old or so? You know women, they tend to use laptops on the bed, so it sucks up all kind of debris . Anyhow, is it the fan? I checked on Ebay and there are these super cheap Chinese knock offs:

and original ones, 3 times more expensive :

Should I go for the cheapest thing this time? Thanks for the advise in advance.
