Selling my trusty little Dell Mini 9 netbook after purchasing an HP DM1z AMD Fusion ultraportable. This comes with:
-Dell Mini 9
-Power cable
-Battery
-9" netbook sleeve
-Box/manuals
-Windows XP Home License with reinstall CDs
Some notes about this machine:
-Snow Leopard is there if you want it, otherwise just format the SSD and put XP back on (discs included)
-You can choose to update it to 10.6.6, but you will most likely loose support for sleep mode, VGA out, and the microphone (all of which seem to work fine with 10.6.2).
-No webcam installed
-This laptop supposedly has bluetooth built-in, but I never got it to work for me (OSx issue...?)
-When you want to charge the battery with OSx running, you sometimes have to plug-in/take-out the power cable a couple of times. Never happens when the machine is shut down completely.
-RAM has been upgraded to 2GB and performance is as stellar as the Atom will offer.
-Offers almost 3 hours battery life with screen dimmed and wifi turned on.
-Is in pristine condition, and has primarily been used as a websurfing/note-taking device.
Any other questions, feel free to PM me. Heat/eBay feedback in my sig.
As a heads up, I won't be able to ship this until the end of the month. Looking for $230 shipped for the bundle!
