I've scowered the internet trying to find free desktop video recording program only to find that most either encounter errors or don't record quality video. Can anyone recomend a good desktop recording program? I'm suprised Tech power up doesnt have one in thier downloads section.

There isn't anything that is free that I know of other than trials such as Fraps. I believe Xfire has a program built in that may work.

Reply there are freeones such as desktop video recorder but it gets an error everytime I try and record. 2nd xfire recorder only works in cetain games. Most work with the program but i've come across a few that dont.

Snagit had a free key give away a while back. Tried to sign up but lost out and couldn't get my key. You can dl the trial if you like:

Not a bad software program at all. :)
