Direct X problem

hey guys.i downloaded a tool to uninstall direct x and clean install april`s version 9.0c.uninstallation was complete.done via safe mode.but i cannot install the new one.
it sais installation is complete but through dxdiag and other progs. it sais that i still have 8.1 version.any hints?

Have you tried Windows update? That's where I got mine from.

i tried from the web installer but i dont have genuine win.......
must i have .NET framework to do the job???

When using Windows update:

Before pressing 'Custom' or 'Express' buttons paste this text to the address bar and press enter:

javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')

It turns off the trigger for the key check.

should i erase the current address of microsoft or paste it next to it?

it will.. can u get the dx9c of a game install disk.. most games come with it..

i have it from 10 games.installation is not happening.
so i finished my format..............
