as far as software, unless its OEM, it should have some software with it. i just got WinAVI on the advice from here for the purpose of converting PVR and other media formats to be able to burn to DVDR- and it works great, has its own built in burner that worked no problem, converted and burned fast too. If you using it for pvr (TIVO) try and find out what software works best with your chipset from others with the same card. Once you post your specs I can see better what would work with your system. Man thats an expenxsive card, but the it could still be limited by what sat signal you get or cable connection. You might try and find others from your area and see what they use.

Yea here are my specs,

Intel pentuim 4 3.0 478 socket
Abit ic-7
2 gigs of pc 400 mushkin ram
nx6600gt 128 agp 4/8x gddr3
Thermaltake BIG WATER SE
plextor dvd burner
hardcano 13
80 gigabyte seagate 7200 rpm drive

Tell me what program I should use, will BeyondTV 4 work?

Does that program also just allow listing like going from channel 1-100 stuff like that, if its even compatable. Thanks.

the only issue I see with that program and any other, is the ability to recognize your areas program listings. I would contact a local pc retailer and explain your situation and see if they can give a list of compatible software. Any thing i could recommend would be a guess and the software you linked to states that its guide works for US and Canada. Your system is good so i see no limitations hardware wise.

Personally I used to like Dscaler, haven't used a TV-card in centuries though. It did have many options, perhaps you can mess around with it. (it's free)
