Do i need to replace my PSU?

thx LagunaX, i only ever shop at newegg.com just cause i hate tigerdirect's lack of a search engine and well lol didn't even know amazon sold PSU's. When i pick up my multi meter and if my rail is actually reading low then i'll keep that PSU in mind.

Great PSU, as I mentioned earlier a single 60A 12v rail, but be warned it's gotta TON of cables and connectors! Made keeping my Antec900 just barely decent enough for airflow a pain lol. Great PSU though, but I didn't need it and kinda regreat paying for it when my HX520 was just fine.

I trust everest too, I've been using it for so many years it's just something I'm used to working with, definately an excellent utility! Really if you're stable now, get the card, if you have issues, then my call was wrong, but I'm willing to bet you'll be fine. If my Corsair 520 with 3x18A, combined @ 41A iirc could handle my system w/o issues (see sys specs), I think you'll do just fine man. But I'm glad I replaced the crappy Antec PSU in her rig with the corsair, never had any issues with it, but I never trusted it after the first antec failed. Though it keeps a e6400@3.2/1.32, DFI P35 @ 400FSB, 8800GTS512 OC'd, 4x1GB DDR2 1000, 1 hdd and 8 fans going just fine to this day...I just don't trust antec after that failure...it was almost as bad as my cheap $15 cheifmax disaster. :D

Go with your gut for now, if I were you I'd feel somewhat relieved, but a multimeter still isn't a bad idea. I did find a used HX520 (was a review sample) for $70 shipped on another forum a couple of weeks ago if you feel the need to tighten your budget a bit I'm sure there are more out there like that, as that PSU would easily handle your system if that 700W OCZ can't! That I can vouch for more than just my account.

:toast:

nah haha my desire to upgrade is almost as high as when i was building my rig in specs(-7800GTX, +2 8800GT's) cause i've been running my 7800 for like 8 months, 1280x768 without AA isn't fun :(.

i feel pretty safe, cause 1 if it was wrong i def think i'd get some instability especially running OCCT but the rail stays consistent. Multi meter is still gonna be bought but i dout i'll make it to wal-mart before my rents' credit card does newegg lol. thx everyone i was real close to buying the 650TX corsair PSU for $99 free ship but you guys recommended diff programs and i believe i found the truth :) and don't need to spend money on that. GTX 275, can't wait :)
