What the title says
I Voted for indifferent, its a blessing in disguise
Nope. Maybe if my E5200 dies it is a nice sample . I would not care less for other stuff I have.
i feel sad
After a (relatively) long thought, I will only feel sad if my HDD die, all the data lost!
Other than that, I can get over it.
I wish it would die....I want to build a new one.
I weep with dispair and then I'm depressed for a month.
I voted no
I only get sad when I know the warranty for my broken part is expired, but other than that I actually get kinda happy [yet a bit annoyed] when something breaks, knowing that I will get a brand new replacement later, its also a great wake up call to upgrade some of your other parts.
My MB just died 2 days ago, but now im waiting for a new MB and a new Video card ^_^
my main rig popped about a month ago. mobo proc ram all dead. i pretty much cried. im using my laptop . its a sad day
the quad SLI system? You didn't hurt my GX2 did you?
Yes, I'm sad when my hardware dies, even hardware I sold.
So far I've been happy. You know when your stuff is old and you really want to upgrade and but the stuff you have does everything you want it to without a hitch.. Then you look for errors.
Now selling stuff.. That breaks my heart.
yes, cause I then realize how much i spent on it.... :.(
no thank god. both cards work and so do the rest of the secondary cards. the xonar etc. just the main stuff blew up. are you kidding if my GX2's blew up i wouldnt be posting i would have grabbed the baretta walked to the bathroom and pressed the reboot button on my life.
"this is my GX2 their are many like it but this one is mine"
Cool that you didn't lose everything, but damn, losing a new x58 motherboard,CPU and the RAM really does suck balls. What happened?
im pretty sure it all started with the mobo. i was pushing it and i think one of the power phases gave up. it was all down hill from their. whole rig went WTF i still need to RMA EVGA said ok but i dont have the $$ to do it. nothing back from mushkin or intel. which is wicked lame. i cant RMA if they dont e-mail me back
Well atleast your not reduced down to using the i-phone for internet access this time.
hahahaha ya its a little better this time for sure
If its just recently bought and I voided my warranty, I would get so pissed I'd smash the TV, followed by crying about the fact I now need to replace my new hardware as-well as buy another TV.
Other then that, if a HDD went crap on me and I had all my valuable pr0n on it I'd go bonkers.
I havent had many parts die (touchwood ) though if it means downtime from my main rig then its a big pita, if its a hdd or something, no biggie, use another and rma, I went without a mobo a few months back, 3 weeks I waited in all cause the 2nd they sent me was doa
I don't feel as sad as I did a few years back.. Only because my downtime won't be 4-6m like it was then.. lol
I get depressed for a bit, especially if I have to replace something and it cuts into my saving funds for my house or if I was saving for another unnecessary gadget/parts for bike or truck.
The worst feeling is unintentionally destroying a piece of hardware and voiding your warranty in the process.
i'm sad that the 5850 i have here seems to be dead because that means no comparison scores for future reviews
only when it's clearly my fault (rushing things) then i am pissed, otherwise i find someone else to blame
Blame your neighbour or get a pet and blame it.
kill a hooker do a line grab a beer.. in that order
It's annoying but i can live with it now, since i have a netbook as secondary system. So i can listen to music, download stuff and check e-mails.
I get annoyed. I only get sad when I have to sell my hardware.
