Does Overclocking GPU Void Warranty?

1. you're doing it wrong. Do not use the sliders. This is likely why you're running into problems. Reset MSI Afterburner to stock, and press Ctrl+F to bring up the curve editor. Then link the points you want in the X/Y axis, for example:

2. Do NOT use modded drivers. These are snake oil, if they were beneficial in any manner don't you think the companies would ship the drivers that way? (XtremeG for NVIDIA, NimeZ for AMD, etc.)

3. OS being beta doesn't affect anything in direct relation to this

With the curve method you just select the max voltage and frequency that you want your GPU to achieve and it does the rest. Keep voltage below 1000 mV for best results, and core clock frequency between 1900 to 2000 MHz. If it crashes, lower the maximum frequency until you reach something stable, but avoid going over 975 mV to keep temperature and power consumption in check.

Beta Windows does not affect the performance but may have bugs of its own. Can't make any promises there - I use stable channel Windows 10 22H2 on my laptop.
