My friend got this card and he plans on water cooling his system after seeing mine, and he want's to buy the ek 7970 ref gpu block like the one I have, so does it fit there?

seeing as it's not the Ghz ed, it should be ok I think. :toast:

According to this http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/step1_complist from EKWB, this card has is compatible with EK blocks but you may notice SOME blocks have small letters saying "requires CU adapter to make contact" (though those are the older blocks as far as i can see)
