My choice was A7V880 or A7N8X-X... That was a first one, but there is many mobo with these chipsets...

Any sugestion will be good!

Rest of my cofiguration is listed in my signature!

I am waiting for your opinion!

Id still say get a NF7-S v2.0, I have never heard of them being bad with non-barton cores. ANd if that WAS true at any point, I'd bet they fixed it in a bios upgrade.

Well I have an NF7-S2 which I recommend because it has more features than the NF7-S, and I love it. Nforce 2 really seems to be superior to anything else, so get it. Plus Abit is THE BEST company I have ever used. I've had a running T-bird 24/7 with an Abit KT7A RAID for about 5 years and it still runs as good as it did the first day I built it. If you can tell by my signature, I also had some MASSIVE expectations for my 3200+ and everything else, and I never thought I would do that well, but everything is running at actually higher speeds than I even wanted. It's running on an NF7-S2. So if you want a stable, RELIABLE, never-any-problems, better-than-you-ever-expected motherboard, get an Abit, and for a Socket A, get an NF7-S2. Oh yeah, and Asus is a good company too, but in my opinion it doesn't compare in any way to Abit.

The NF7-S2 or NF7-S2G are NOT the same as the NF7-S v2.0, its a completely different motherboard. And its pretty bad for overclocking, look up some reviews.

I had a GIGABYTE GA-7VT600-L mobo.....it was not very good....not for oc anyway...
I just bought a ABIT AN7-GURU nForce2 Ultra400/MCP-T........( after recommandation af wazzledoozle and grazzhoppa ) ( se thread : http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=3834 )

It is the best board I ever had....S-ATA....FireWire.....USB 2.0.....Nvidia SoundStorm Audio......6 Channel Audio.........
And the best....it is way better in overclocking performance.......
So no doubt from here......go for it....

AN7 or NF7-S v2.0 or bust. Best two Socket A motherboards ever.

The a7n8x-X is not what your thinking it is- its a single channel nforce II, im pretty sure.. Theres also an IGP version which gives you little to NO bios options.

ABit AN7, nf7-s, reg a7n8x, and the dlx are good boards. The gigabytes arent too bad either, but the kt880 is supposed to compete very well, if not exceed the nfII performance, so its down to personal preference.

If you can get the dlx a7n8x, with soundstorm, definatly go for that. otherwise, the kt880 will perform very well, as It should have a pci lock.

Either way, I'm sure you'd be very happy with both. I personally would go with an NFII because of drivers, and common experience. There wont be any hugely noticable performance differences.

I don realy undestans how to make diference between NF7-S, NF7-V-2.... On the site i couldn't find v2 edition of MB.

They all look the same, and in my country i have to be carfull!!!
Its too late when i by it!!!
