Go to the Motherboard's website and download the chipset drivers, yes they are important.
Yeah it's always good to have the latest chipset drivers. Although technically, the Intel Chipset Software installs INF and not drivers. So it's not "that" important, you get the right name and identify the device for the system that's all.
