DTS DCH Driver for Realtek HDA [DTS:X APO4 + DTS Interactive]

Hello dude, i will extract AAF file and install it from device manager on HDMI de vice?
Depends First Try Just Installing If It Doesnt Work (Like Doesnt Install The Driver) Then Use Device Manager
The Name Should Be "AAF Optimus Audio - Intel" Or Something Like That,
(It Should Say What Driver Is It Like If Its Nvdia It Should Say "AAF Optimus Audio - Nvdia" Same For AMD, Etc)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The 'DTS Settings' (guide here) can already be used to add DTS:X Ultra (APO4) and DTS Interactive. There is a separate .reg file 'Multichannel [Interactive].reg'.
As long as APO4 and Interactive are installed and (from this package). It adds the APO keys and sets up the device.

I did also make an independent installer, but I don't maintain it any more. I might update it soon.
Well I Use Stereo So What Do I Do? Like Ive Got Dolby Digital (Not Plus) But Like Its Not As Good As DTS Interactive,
So Any Idea What I Should Do?
And Also Could U Like Provide The "independent installer" Like Even If U Dont Support It As Long As It Still Works :)

When you say you use stereo but have Dolby Digital, I am not 100% sure I follow, If you want DTS Interactive use the Interactive file, else for 2 channel only use the stereo file.
If you copy both files and set them both up for a certain SPDIF-HDMI device, you can switch between stereo and DTS Interactive, on that device.

Use the setting that come with that package to setup your devices, also uses .reg files.

I Use AAF Optimus HDAudio There The Package Included "Dolby Digital" (Not Plus Nor Live) Thats How I Got Dolby Digital,
And For The Thread I Will Try It Now Hopefully It'll Work.

EDIT: IT WORKS

Bad News... There's No Audio And When I Try To Switch Formats Out Of Interactive It Says "Format Not Supported", Like I Tried Switching Into DVD, CD, Studio No Luck, I Uninstall That Driver And Reinstalled Stock So I Was Thinking... Could U Make A Mod For "Intel(R) Display Audio" Cuz No One Has Did It And It Would Be Nice Cuz Like There Are AMD Ones, Nvdia Ones, But No Intel, (Excluding AAF Optimus) So Yeah I Would Appreciate That.

If you have that Sound Properties window with DTS Interactive listed, as in your pic, you need to de-click "Enable audio enhancements" - when not using DTS Interactive - and you should be able to switch in-between formats.

But When I Put Interactive, I Hear No Audio...

Interactive has registry info to enable it. Although I am not sure what you have done so far. Also check the HDMI device can play DTS Audio.
In some cases and probably with Intel, EFX is not supported by the driver, if you add EFX you get the problem you mention.

So By Any Chance Do U Know A Modded Driver For Intel?

Unfortunely not, no. You can try removing the EFX processing key but keep the EFX APO keys, sometimes that works.
The other option is to use the Microsoft driver, and program that with APO keys (DTS).

DTS DCH Drivers for Realtek 6.0.9468.1 [DTS:X] - Signed - Reuploaded | Use my EqualizerAPO preset to upmix stereo (2ch) to 5.1 (6ch), with full LFE (.1) crossover.

Install Driver > Configure endpoints (Speakers, SPDIF, Headphones - volume, so on) > Install EAPO > Restore .reg file > Configure devices.
Use pre-mix, no post-mix, SFX/MFX (restart) - Tick troubleshooting. Copy the preset config files to the EAPO folder.

Change 180hz crossover in the upmixer to a frequency you prefer (green arrow).

Future updates will be fixes and features (if any), don't expect any real audio quality changes. All features and modes are working, even with the newest DTS app (store download), with the preset as is.

Please note that stereo modes-features differ from those when in multichannel (6+ channels), all stereo modes have a functioning EQ, including custom mode.
Also note that form factor 'Speakers' and 'Headphones' is not needed when in multichannel mode when using SPDIF-HDMI.

If your audio sounds bad, the input is bad, try playing back a FLAC file to compare (ideally the same sample).

Tested on S1220A, Asus edition HDAUDIO, latest DTS Ultra app.

----

If you like Sound Unbound, buy a license, it will be stored on your Windows account, and its valid on 10 different computers, total price divided by 10.

----

Optional, use 'Multichannel [Interactive].reg' from 'DTS Settings' (guide here) to set SPDIF into HT-HD mode, 6 x 48k 24b PCM.
You will lose passthrough with the Photos app, use Potplayer-other, I prefer to decode all to PCM (even 7.1).

> Edit the file with the GUID, disable SPDIF (right click disable), apply the reg, restart, enable.

Multichannel audio tests here (via web browser). Note: DTS Interactive final format is 6 x 48k 24b.

Attached a service fix, which changes the way the Windows audio engine is started, fixing issues caused by EAPO (composite FX not supported).
The service fix will be added to the 'TOOLS' folder in the next DTS DCH package update, for your convenience.

I have had a few reports of Mediafire not playing ball with generating a download, I have re-uploaded the file (no driver changes) with the service fix in 'TOOLS'.
Alternative below here in case Mediafire is still not working for some people, not sure why, sorry for any inconvenience.

DTS Settings updated. Removed a redundant bypass when using SPDIF in HT (home theatre) mode (Multichannel [Interactive].reg).

If you have an HDMI receiver that supports 'DTS Audio', you can also use the Interactive file.
If the HDMI receiver supports 5.1 - 7.1 LPCM (PCM) use 'Multichannel.reg'

----

If you are using stereo, enable Sound Unbound, set to none with the latest app to get speakers.
Use the ultra app to change modes and set EQ's (absent from Sound Unbound).

Hey @Ferather Maybe You Should Add DTS Digital Entertainment
To Your Pack (Its Only Missing That And Maybe DTS HeadphonesX v1) I Love DTS DE Thats Why I Use @ador250's DTS Mod Maybe Try To Add That :)

I did have in the past, but had problems with WASAPI mode. Ador also puts Interactive on MFX instead of EFX, probably because it originally only supported LFX-GFX (legacy).
The official position when using a Realtek driver, supporting DTS-Dolby encoding, is also EFX, so I have patched files and re-programmed accordingly.

In short, I had some problems with it in legacy setup. SPDIF in HT mode uses the same system as HDMI.

When You Say In The Past Wdym?

About 2-3 years ago I produced a driver that had all of Adors files + DTS APO4, but I no longer support any legacy effects-codes.

Interesting... Still Got It Tho?

Nope, and I knew you say that, I might be able to find it from my friends archive, but no promises.

----

As you can see here, I have re-programmed the position of various keys.
