Hi

I need an easy to use cpu-fan control program for WinXP(pro).
All that I want it to do is so I can adjust the cpu fan speed from inside Windblows without
the need to add numbers etc. Would be great if it has a graphical user interface of some sort.

Is there any program out there that can do the above (hopefully free..)?

Thankful for any replies given.

Try speedfan. Don't know if that'll work for ya but it is a good place to start.

Already have that one. Too advanced. I want an easy to use i.e. a GUI with a slider and "OK" & "CANCEL" buttons..

Thanks anyway.

You could opt for a PCI fan controller card if you've got a lot of management going on...

This one looks pretty nice, goes for around 25-30$ and supports 8 fans with temp sensors.

I know it's not free... but it comes with the 8 temp sensors, and the program looks pretty slick too.

Looks like each header can handle fans rated for 12v @ .83a

Looks nice. But I need something for my CPU fan, since:
1.Q-Fancontrol/fan-settings in BIOS makes me confused.
2.SpeedFan makes me even more confused..

Otherwise, I guess I have to make a program of my own.. And that would just take time because I don't know how-to do it....

<edit> I couldn't change it anyway it looks like. I'm stuck with Q-Fan, but hey.. 400rpm?! Still it's a stable 30~33C. I have mailed a friend of mine to try and make an easy to use fan control program for me (not free :( ). I will test it when it's done, and if it works good I'll ask him if he can provide a link so everyone else can d/l it.
