I'm also in the market for one of these, but I'm not too familiar with European purchases. Does that €105 price tag include the "20% VAT" or will that go on top of that purchase? Also do you know much EKWB usually charges for shipping to NA? I feel like I should wait until another vendor picks up this block as that usually results in a lower overall price. I've been waiting so long for a full cover block for this card lol, the anticipation was killing me and I ended up getting a GB 670 card with a Heatkiller 680 smacked onto it to settle my WCing jitters for the time being. I just hope this block is as beautiful as the Heatkiller, that thing looks magnificent.

DeviousTom I didn't think 680 blocks could fit Asus 670GTX DCII since PCB isn't reference but has been redesigned. I might be wrong

Within Europe you shouldn't not require to pay import VAT since EU VAT is paid at country you purchase. Prices listed on the EK site are inc VAT EK-FC670 GTX DCII - Acetal+Nickel Incl. 20% VAT: € 99.95 final price you will be paying is 99.95 + shipping costs. Shipping to UK varies € 12-30 depending on items order and delivery dates. My order came out to around £40 for shipping.

I had a look around and most of the retails are still waiting for stock for some items that EK had listed 1-2 weeks ago and in stock, since I been waiting for 2-3months for these block to be released I could not resist placing order direct ;) As for price point I do believe it will work out slightly more, but I should have them before any retailer in UK

Hope this helps :)

Ah thanks for the info uber! I guess I'll go ahead and order (preorder?) it now as well! As for the Heatkiller, what I meant was that I went ahead and bought a Gigabyte 670 alongside my Asus DC2T 670, and smacked on a 680 Heatkiller on the Gigabyte card since that card does have a reference 680 design (and you're right, the DC2T is completely custom PCB). That block looks amazing, and temps never go above 43 degrees Celsius (but they will probably go up once i put the DC2T in the loop as well). I will as well post my results with my EK DC2T 670 block, along with any difficulties with mixing the two blocks (heatkiller and ek).

Got an email from EK this morning :( , they are testing my patience...

Dear customer

Thank you for your order and for being our customer.
Sadly I must inform you that the product you ordered is not in stock:

- EK-FC670 GTX DCII

Product will be in stock on 16th of August 2012.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and ask you for your patience.

Best regards

Aw, so they pushed it back. In the email that I was sent they said August 14th. I hope this doesn't mean that the demand is too high and their trying to push out extra stock. Could mean some half-decent batches? I was really hoping to get the block in before this weekend, guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed.

Good news :) got an email from EK. Should receive them tomorrow, but sadly won't be able to update until late evening 20:00 GMT time

Dear customer,
your package was sent 14.08.2012 by XXX. If there is any delay with your package, you can trace it at XXX with tracking number attached to your order in your order history.

Apologies for lack off updates, I wasn't feeling well therefore not much progress with the build apart off dumping everything in to have working PC

Got EK 670 blocks in and fitted them on the cards, they look impressive, but I wasn't too impressed with backplate. With thermal pads provided not all memory chips had good contact, too improvise I have used some thermal paste to achieve desired contact.

At the moment entire loop is running on 360 rad, CPU temps hit max of 72c running i7 2700k @4.5, GTX cards idle at 32c (28c with DC2 sink) hitting max of 68c both cards (top card was hitting 100c in SLI and ~70c at max using DC2 cooler). Once my loop is sorted will post full review/experience for these blocks

Between that and the plating fiasco a while back I really wonder if Eddy likes his customers anymore? :o

I actually like it. It is different and I didn't care much for it at first but it kinda grew on me some. I love the clear blocks more as you can see inside and see if theres any buildup or anything.

I wanted to add that this water block does work and fit on the GTX 660 Ti DCII. Hows your temps and stuff now?

Hey bud,

sorry for late update :( one of my cards developed a problem and only got time break and RMA recently. As for temps they don't hit above 50c both cards room temp of 25c 4-6hours of gaming. Idle is bit higher of 28-30c. Couple of weeks we had hot weather aroudn where I live abiant of 30-32c and cards were running little bit hotter hitting 58-60c after 8 hours of gaming and benchmarks.

Specs:
i7 2700k is overclocked to 4.5-4.8 at both instances and running around 60c tops
Cooling:
EK-CoolStream 3x ScytheGentleTyphoon 120 mm (1850rpm)
2x 120 Rads (EK,XSPC) 3x Fractal Design "Silent Series" 120mm
