Personally I will gladly sacrifice a degree or three and go Optimus. The simple fact is the EK has machining that screams $50 block. Chatter marks bug me. The machining marks on the base of the EK would drive me insane.

On my VII block I returned it because I could feel and hear the marks with my fingernail.

Bitspower block is smooth.

Just make sure you let people know that EK is giving you a deal that's unavailable to normal folk.

It's really impressive because they claim they don't polish, so that's how fine they machine the base.

I just love my V1. I'm really excited to be getting some test samples. I'll be getting an AM4 block for sure in the next bit with results to follow.

Just as the sell prices speak for themselves so do max core temperatures and high/ low core temp spreads do as well
So besides setup and ambient and water temps.... most will be on my sleeve as far as results go

Knowing who to ask is definitely a special thing.

I think EK would send me a bomb before they would give me a sample. LoL

Geez and extra $80 for .5C ...seems worth it. /s I just bought this heatkiller and it is an awesome block. Both the gpu and cpu have very low flow restriction and combined both of these blocks were $30 more than just the 1 EK block.
