EK Water Blocks, Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, is proud to officially release the EK-FC7990 incl. Backplate, a Full-Cover water block for undisputedly hottest gaming graphics card in the world - Radeon HD 7990 - bundled with aluminum backplate.

EK-FC7990 is a high performance full-cover water block engineered specifically for PowerColor/VTX3D/Club3D Radeon HD 7990 series graphics cards. This water block directly cools both GPUs, RAM as well as both VRMs (voltage regulation module) as water flows directly over these critical areas thus allowing the graphics card and it's VRM to remain stable under high overclocks. EK-FC7990 water block also features a high flow design therefore it can be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

What about the HIS 7970 X2? Or if AMD decides to release an official R7990? :p

They do... Ek's 7950 block will fit that card..
I already emailed them and asked them. XFX uses its own custom 7970 PCB with three random differences that make the block not fit level.

I know what your going at. I had to go and do the same thing. Now, that I think of it, the way I got it to work was copper shims.. It's been to long since I did it, but throw me a pm and I'll see if I can help you out on how I got mine to work right..

About time they ditched the hideous circles theme, now I kinda like this "new" look.

I can vouch for CS, the block did indeed fit his XFX 7950 DD. Not sure if the standard 7970 block will fit a 7970 DD, but the 7950 block fits the 7950 DD just fine.

7950 Dual Dissipation FX-795A-TDJC
http://www.coolingconfigurator.com/upload/pictures/XFX-7950-FX-795A-TDJC-PCB.jpg

its a non reference 7970 board ,afaik theres in no blocks that fit it (been googling for days looking for one myself)

Yes its not the version you are searching for.

Now, I am glad the circles are gone... glad the issues with their blocks are "gone"... wish I had the money for the 7990

The TDFC and TDJC are both Dual Dissipation cards. The TDFC is on a reference PCB, while the TDJC is not.
