Enderal Released on Steam

it must not be too bad, it has Very Pos reviews... like 99% of games these days, I won't play it for a year, and by then it will be polished. /shrug this is how I roll

I’ve found voice volume is horrible. It’s worse than Skyrim was.
Dunno, mine is fine (definitely better than Fallout 4).

On the bright side: I found the culprit. Disabled OneTweak, left EnBoost enabled and everything finally works. The game is capped at 60FPS and has occasional dips to 50, but it's manageable now.

Were you able to customize your character?
I did. The only problem I had at that stage is if you did not switch the KB layout to english, you won't be able to enter the character name (other languages not displaying correctly, and alt+shift does not work inside the game for some reason).

It's pretty amazing, but it's buggy as hell. Not as bad as Bethesda games at launch, but not even as good as Skywind pre-pre-alpha from many many moons ago (when downloads were still enabled)

Yes I was. I also found the bad sound was my Soundblaster control panel automatically setting me to surround sound when I reinstalled everything with W10 reset.

Had a chance to test it out. So far so good, had to change a few settings for good fps on 1440p. Freaky start tho I thot I was crashing saw it started the game minimized.

How did you get the resolution higher than 1080p? I did not touch config files yet, but might give it a roll tonight.

I know they said it is only 1080p, but I am pretty sure mine is also running 1440. I am basing this on the size of the text with my OSD, recognizing the differences between them from many other games which have started out installing at 1080p.

Only runs above 1080 Windowed.

I started into the Temple and have to say, I’ve not felt this naked and helpless in a game in awhile. I have a knife, a few coins, and some rancid health potions. I assume those will make me sick if I use them? Anyway, Looking forward to see where this takes me. :)

Just a guess but check for skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs.ini files
For me it is located:
C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Skyrim
That works for Skyrim, I assume Enderal has the same files.

On the launcher I had unticked the option for "OneTweak" under optimizations and it unlocked all of the resolution settings for me :)

That was the first thing I did, and... nilch:

What's interesting is that with ENBoost enabled it seems to be actually running at native 4K, hence the hiccups and FPS dips below 30... but in config file it's still 1080p.
I should probably disable everything and do it manually.

So how is it, do want screens.

Finally got some time to play a bit. Some things are slowly coming back (at least the first few stages of the campaign).
Already cured my Arcane fever, traveled around on a goat-dragon-dog, killed the only dragon and nearly finished 2 armor sets (Rat catcher and Nomad, plus some other spares).

Holy shit! Did not even notice how time goes by: 62 hours into the game, and so far enjoying every bit of it regardless of technical issues.
Last few patches added stability (only crashes once or twice per gaming session), and they fixed some bugs too... Kinda surprised, since most of it could've been blamed at Bethesda )))
The only thing I don't like, is that my fancy poisonous bow lost it's infinite charges after the patch :D:D:D

Some more screens:

That’s awesome! Glad you’re having fun. 62 hours is a fair sized commitment.
