Clear cmos, read your motherboard manual, make sure to update board bios, go online and ask gskill and asus technical support to ensure your ram is compatible, make sure ram is in correct slots for your specific ram configuration.

Ok so when you mean post do you not get any display or do you and system stops for an error, some asus boards you can update with just the cpu installed. Check your manual for details on it

Did it ever POST?

Ryzen platform is VERY sensitive to memory, so if you have unsupported memory (check the Qualified Vendor's List for the motherboard - it lists exact product numbers) then it likely won't work.

The memory you have in your specs is 3600 which AFAIK *can* work, but only if it is of a specific type. Not just any 3600 MHz memory will do.

There are only two memory modules listed in the manual for 3600 speed, both are Corsair.

Code:
CMK32GX4M4B3600C18 ver4.31 32GB(8GB*4)
CMK32GX4M4B3600C18R ver4.31 32GB(8GB*4)

It's very likely the memory you have won't work, unfortunately.

The spec of your memory is: CL17-18-18-38, 1.35 volt, Unbuffered

It appears this should work, but why they don't, I don't know. I can only assume something is out of spec somewhere (doesn't initialize fast enough, or a timing issue through POST, or something else).

Unfortunately I don't have the required analyzers to see what the memory does on a system that POSTs, and on a system that doesn't. I wish someone would take a look and get to the bottom of this as it is annoying how the specs can't be relied upon anymore to know if a piece of hardware will actually work. You'd think higher-spec memory would work at a lower spec, but that simply isn't the case.

I'm not even sure the QVLs are an exhaustive list. Are they?

I wanted to be sure it NEVER posted, not even once.

He has the Zenith LIVEDASH hooked up, so it gets to that and stops booting.
